Liquid aluminum provides the following advantages:

• Just-in-time delivery
• Delivery of treated alloy with no remelting need
• Inventory cost reduction (does not require storage)
• Gain in foundry area
• Energy savings (holding furnace has lower consumption than melting furnace)
• Installation cost (melting furnaces cost more than holding furnaces)
• Savings in ingot remelting
• Reduction in process time and labor needed in the remelting process
• Elimination of remelting losses and reduction of residue generation
• Increase of working capital related to raw material

Inbra Metais has an integrated logistic system specifically designed for liquid aluminum delivery where special 3 to 7 ton pans are used for transportation holding the material at a temperature of approximately 780ēC.
